Parenting the Love and Logic Way: A seven session program for parents who want more joy less stress as they raise happy responsible children. New class begins Monday November 18th . Cost is $30 for residents of Granby and East Granby and $40 for non-residents. Registration form is available on the town website www.granby-ct.gov.
Kids Play You Stay: A free drop in play group for at home caregivers. Held Wednesday mornings at Holcomb Farm from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. A collaboration with the Granby Early Childhood Council.
Women's Divorce Support Group: Thursday evenings at 6:30 held at the Town of Granby Senior/Youth Service building. Free, drop ins welcome!
Around Again, a group for grandparents raising their grandchildren continues to meet on Thursdays at 12:00 noon. New members are always welcome and evening meetings are easily scheduled to accommodate those grandparents still working during the afternoons.
QPR Training- Question, Persuade, Refer: This is a free, brief training that gives community members the knowledge and tools to help identify someone who may be contemplating suicide and get them connected to those with the experience to help them through this difficult time. This training runs less than an hour, and can be given to any group of 5 or more. Call me to set up a session for your group!
